Connecting citizens and journalists with YouTube Direct

YouTube direct is a new function on You Tube that allows media organizations to request, rebrodcast, and review YouTube videos directly from the source. It enables media organizations to be allowed to view and broadcast YouTube videos on-air. The YouTube user that took the video dose not get paid, although he dose get acknowledgment. This is crazy. Although I don't have a youtube account, if a video I shot was broadcasted on the news and I was not payed I would be mighty upset.
